The knob cover on the pop-up headlight motor of the FD RX-7 — the manual override you reach for when a light has failed to rise and you need it up before dark.
It is a small cap in an awkward place, and it goes missing more often than it breaks. Pop the bonnet on a well-used FD and there is a fair chance one or both are gone entirely, lost during some previous headlight repair and never replaced because nobody sells them.
This is a recurring item in the FD owner community for exactly that reason: cheap, specific, and unobtainable through normal channels.
Fitment: RX-7 FD, 1993–2002. Both sides use the same cover. Order two if you are doing the pair, which most people are.
