The dash-position cupholder from the B6 and B7 A4 — the one that slides out from the ashtray recess and is famous for not surviving.
It fails at the sprung arms that grip the cup. They are thin, they are cantilevered, and they are the only thing between a full drink and the centre console. Audi owners tend to discover this once and then never use the holder again, which is why so many B6 A4s have one sitting permanently retracted and broken behind the fascia.
The reprint market for this is large. It is one of the parts that got people into printing car components in the first place.
Fitment: A4 B6 and B7, 2002–2008. The two generations use slightly different mechanisms despite looking alike. Tell us the year and whether you need the complete unit or just the gripping arms.
