The plain version is the reproduction: an unbroken surround for a car whose original has cracked at the corners, which nearly all have after thirty-five years of being knelt on during interior work.
The gauge-hole version is the other reason people buy this. The console surround is one of the few flat expanses in an S13 cabin large enough to take instruments without cutting into the dashboard, and it sits within easy sight of the driver. Fitting gauges here rather than on the A-pillar keeps the car’s sightlines intact.
Fitment: S13, 180SX, 200SX and 240SX, 1989–1994. Specify plain or gauge-hole, and if gauges, tell us the diameters and how many. Manual and automatic consoles differ around the shifter aperture.
