The rear number-plate lamp lens for the MGB and GT. A small clear moulding that spends its life at the back of the car collecting road spray, and which goes yellow, then hazy, then cracked.
The reason owners end up printing these has less to do with the lens than with what happens when you try to buy an aftermarket one: the gaskets on the reproduction units frequently do not match the OEM housing. You buy a replacement, find it will not seal against your existing lamp body, and are back where you started.
Printed in clear PETG, which passes light adequately and holds up outdoors far better than the original material managed over sixty years.
Fitment: MGB and MGB GT, 1962–1980. Lamp housings changed across that span, particularly around the 1970 rubber-bumper transition — measure your existing lens or send a photo of the housing before ordering.
