Climate control buttons for the W123. Discontinued, and the survivors are all approaching the same end.
These buttons are a known W123 weakness. The plastic becomes brittle with age and the actuating stem snaps behind the fascia, so the button face stays in place looking perfectly normal while doing nothing at all. Owners often diagnose a climate fault before realising the control itself has failed.
Because every original is the same age, a car with one broken button usually has three more on the way.
Fitment: W123, 1976–1985. Button legends differ by market and by whether the car has air conditioning — tell us which functions your panel carries, or send a photo of the fascia.
