Mazda’s position on cupholders in the NB was that a sports car does not really need them, and the console reflects that. What you got was an afterthought, and thirty years on it is an afterthought that has usually broken.
This replaces the console cupholder assembly. It is one of the highest-rated parts in the Miata printing community, which says less about the engineering than about how many NB owners have opened the console lid, looked at what is left of the original, and decided to solve it themselves.
Fitment: NB, 1998–2005. The NB1 and NB2 consoles differ in detail around the handbrake surround, so confirm which you have. If your car is an NA, that is a different part entirely — see the NA listing.
