The clip that holds the sun visor against the headlining when it is stowed.
It is a spring detent, and it works by gripping the visor rod hard enough to hold but not so hard you cannot pull it down. Twenty years of that, plus the plastic hardening in a car that bakes in the sun, and the arms lose their grip or break outright. The visor then hangs at half-mast in your peripheral vision.
Honda supplies the clip attached to the complete visor, which means a five-gram spring failure costs you an upholstered panel.
Fitment: Accord 2003–2012, and the Fit which uses a comparable clip. Rod diameter is what matters — measure it, since the same visible clip shape appears with different bore sizes across Honda’s range.
