Headlight and HVAC control knobs, plus the switch panel they sit in, for GM and Chevrolet vehicles.
Two separate failures land in the same place. The knobs themselves wear until the printed markings disappear, leaving you working the climate controls by memory. Meanwhile the panel around them cracks at the mounting tabs, so the whole assembly starts to sit proud of the dash.
Both are the sort of fault that fails no inspection and bothers you constantly. Neither is stocked separately.
Fitment: a range of GM and Chevrolet models. Knob shaft splines and panel apertures vary considerably by platform and year — tell us the vehicle and send a photo of the existing panel, since visually similar switch packs are frequently not interchangeable.
