Floor mat anchor clips for VAG platforms. The twist-lock retainers that hold the driver’s mat in position — and which, when they break, let the mat slide forward under the pedals.

That makes this a safety item rather than a trim item, which is worth stating plainly. A loose driver’s mat interfering with the accelerator or brake is a well-documented hazard, and it is the reason the anchors exist at all.

They break at the twist tab or the base snaps off flush with the carpet, usually while vacuuming. Replacements exist but tend to be sold in sets sized for a whole vehicle.

Fitment: a range of 2000s and 2010s Audi and Volkswagen models. VAG used several anchor patterns across that period — measure the base diameter and the depth of the carpet stud, or send a photo of the surviving anchor.
