The centre vent louvre tab and slider used across a wide span of 2000s and 2010s Toyotas — Camry, Corolla, 4Runner and Prado among them.
Toyota’s volume works against owners here. These vents went into millions of cars, which is exactly why the tab is only catalogued as part of the complete register: at that scale the assembly is the unit of manufacture, and nobody at the parts desk is set up to sell you a paddle.
The failure is dull and universal. The tab breaks at the pivot, the louvre drifts to whatever position airflow pushes it to, and the vent becomes a fixed hole in the dashboard.
Fitment: Camry, Corolla, 4Runner and Prado across the 2000s and 2010s. Despite the shared design there are several tab profiles in circulation — give us the model, year and market, and a photo if you have one, because the visual differences are subtle and the fit is not forgiving.
