The cover over the pop-up headlight switch on the NA Miata dashboard — the separate control that raises and lowers the lights independently of the main headlight switch.
This is a distinct part from the FD RX-7 item elsewhere in the catalogue, which sits on the motor itself under the bonnet. This one is inside the car, on the dash, and it is one of the more brittle mouldings in an NA interior. Thirty-odd years of sun through a windscreen with no roof over it much of the time.
When it cracks the switch still works, but the exposed metal actuator is sharp and unpleasant to use.
Fitment: Miata NA, 1989–1997. Single part, no side variants.
